Tess's blood ran cold. It was another day where she had no one to spend with, oh - except Tedz. She clutched her new brown saddle in her hands, resting the tree of the saddle along her arm. Her bridle hung around her neck, tangling with her light brown hair.
"Tedz!" she called. "Come on boy! It's a RIDE time!"
Within moments, a hugely framed chestnut gelding bounded down the paddock to greet her. He slowed to a trot once he was at her side. And put his muzzle into her cheek.
"Oh hehe." Tess smiled. "Hello you!"
She smoothed the saddle cloth on his back, not needing to tether the beautiful horse. And then the saddle, doing up the girth. Next she moved the bridle up, and placed the bit in his mouth. He moved his head up and down cheerfully, then pranced around a bit. Tess used his momentum to help her up, and was quick to throw her right leg over.
They cantered gleefully down the paddock,

then... well - she definately didn't expect to meet anyone! But she did!
