She smiled a little as he talked. He was a really nice guy, and she thought she should tell him that, but it might feel awkward, so she said nothing until they pulled in. "Thanks for everything, Dustin. I'll probably thank you several more time over the course of the next few days, so bear with me."

Dustin turned off the engine and looked at Lily don't worry about it, I'm not looking for thank yous, its a favor.. He got out of the car and walked round to the passenger side, then helped Lily out. Dustin walked into the arena and laughed looking at the horse. well, ya bridles Broken, but he hasn't let go of the bit yet..

As he came over to help her out, she smiled up at him. It was nice having a friend again. She'd never had many, and sometimes forgot how nice it could be. Walking slowly after him, she giggled a little as she saw Deductive. "Goofy horse. Well, at least he seems okay."

Deductive saw Lily and whinnied, every now and then he'd dropped the bridle but he just picked it up again, Lily put it there for a reason. With his head held high, Deductive trotted a little way and dropped the bridle to rest his jaw, After a few seconds he grabbed the bit and came all the way to Lily, nudging her gently.
Dustin laughed as he saw the young stallion drop the bridle and pick it up again.. hey, look, you got a clown..

"Hahaha, apparently." She reached out with her good arm and stroked his nose, then went to take the bit out of his mouth. What a funny horse, dropping it and picking it up again. She'd never seen a horse do that before. Lily had a feeling she'd gotten a winner when she bought this horse.

Deductive let go of the bit as Lily took it, he shook his head and pawed the ground, while he was alone he'd gone around and knocked down all the jumps Lily had made earlier.
Dustin smiled and looked at Lily doesn't seem like he'd be hard to break in..

Lily took the bridle and and set it down near the gate. She'd have to take the bit off and throw away the rest later. "No, he's a real sweetheart, and he learns pretty quickly. But I'm afraid I don't have a lot of patience, and I've never trained a horse before." She patted his neck, then scanned the arena. "Looks like I'll have to clean up those jumps, too."

Dustin picked up a rope that was on the fence and put it around Deductive's head like a halter, he handed the other end to Lily..I'll fix that.. Jogging over to the knocked down jumps, Dustin moved them out of the way, so if anybody came in, they wouldn't get in the way..

Lily took the rope, again smiling at Dustin. "Thanks again." She watched him for a moment, then lead Deductive outside. She needed a bit of fresh air, and she was sure the horse wouldn't mind it, either. Lily leaned against the building and let him sniff around or munch on grass if he wanted. That was another thing, she had to feed him when they got him up to the barn, and give him a few extra treats.

Deductive followed Lily out of the arena and snorted, he found a patch of green grass and started munching on it, Keeping his eye on Lily. At least he hadn't rolled with the saddle on...yet..
Dustin took his time grabbing the jumps and putting them away, he wasn't too fussed, it's not like he had plans for any part of this day, the only thing he was going to do was take Cruize out, but that could wait..when they got Deductive back, he'd have to feed Cruize. After he'd finished with th jumps, Dustin walked out to Lily and deductive.. Wanna get him back to the barn..

Lily almost dozed off, but caught herself. She watched Deductive as he munched on the grass. Was that a mischievous look she saw in his eye, or just the light? She wasn't sure, but she wasn't sure she wanted to know, either. When Dustin came out, she turned her attention toward him. "Ya. He needs to be groomed and fed. I'll help as much as I can."

Deductive lifted his head at the word fed, that always meant something good, he finished his mouthful and lifted his head, waiting for Lily to start walking..
Dustin nodded and started walking, he was tempted to jump on the stallions back, and use the rope as a bitless Bridle, but he didn;t want to do anything that would make Lily mad..

Lily plodded along next to Dustin, leading the stallion behind her. She didn't even know what time it was, but she was exhausted. And she couldn't even sleep. She'd have to stay awake for the next 24 hours or so, just to be sure there were no complications with her concussion. And she probably wouldn't eat much during that time, either, because concussions make a person nauseous. However, a nice cold drink of water would be nice. "I'd appreciate your help training Deductive if you have time. I mean, you've done it before, and you're a lot of fun. Not to mention I won't be able to do much for the next week or so, unless I'm feeling a lot better really soon."

Dustin watched Deductive follow Lily, he seemed like a loyal enough horse. With a smile, he nodded. sure, i can help ya.. can i try something with him quickly? he wanted to jump on him and see if he'd tolerate certain things.

"Sure, by all means." As far as she was concerned, he could do whatever he wanted to with him. She trusted him, especially when it came to her horse. He was a pretty knowledgeable and trustworthy guy, at least he seemed that way to her. She stopped walking and held out the rope, waiting to see what he'd do.
