Keely punched him lightly on the shoulder, laughing. "Nah, I didn't cheat, you're just slow, admit it," Keely said laughingly, grinning at James cheekily. ooc: phailpost

James caught her hand, pulling him against his chest, holding her there softly as they stared into each others eyes, he lifted her chin up with the knuckle on his right pointer finger. Gently, he pressed his own lips down to hers. "You're beautiful." he said gently, their noses just touching.
xDDD
Hokay, real post:
..Crap. What was your post again? *reads* Oh yeah!
"I am not slow! Well, in the head, anyway. I have great cognitive skills. And I'm generally all good physically.." he said, looking a little pouty, but grinning nonetheless.

"Sure sure," Keely replied, a look of mock disbelief on her face before breaking into another cheeky grin. Placing her hands lightly on the metal of the equipment Keely jumped up, landing so she was sitting on the edge of the platform, looping one arm through the bars that were beside her.
ooc: Okies, fixed it up XD

James smiled up at Keely, laughing and also springing up the equipment with her. Sitting down next to her, he asked a question that had been plaguing his mind.
"So, where are you from?" he asked, "Though, you don't have to say if you don't want to."

"Well...I come from a place that took me two weeks to get to here, and to be honest, I'm glad I've gotten away. My dad is a chef, owns his own restaurant, my mother breeds show horses. I suppose I would've left already if it weren't for the horses, they're the one thing I've had that's always felt, right," Keely replied after a few moments, fingers toying with the hem of her shirt. "I've kind of always been the black sheep of the family, I never really fit in to their 'picture perfect' life, and, when they found out I was pregnant, that was pretty much the last straw. It was either, get married, or get out. And seeing as though there was no way I was going to marry that idiot, here I am now," she finished up. Keely glanced quickly at James, she wasn't exactly used to sharing her personal life with people she had only just met, but she didn't feel uncomfortable telling him. Talking about her family was also another sore spot, but she guessed she'd probably never have to speak of them again.

James nodded in understanding. Well, in as much understanding as someone who's led a relatively normal and happy life can. He listened on and the hate he had for 'old fashioned' people grew stronger. I mean, he was very much old fashioned himself. Had he fathered the child, he would have wished to marry the mother, if only to stop the ridicule that people like Keely were now receiving. However, if the girl said no, he would understand. Not that he would sleep with someone that he didn't love, anyway. James was very old fashioned in that respect. But he didn't like the people who frowned upon others for not having the same opinion.
"And here you are now, sitting with a weirdo who challenged you to a race to a slide and promptly lost said race. You should seriously think about the company you keep." he quipped, jokingly.

Keely laughed lightly at his response, lifting her hand and pushing her curls back. He had reacted better than she thought he might, which was a good thing. "Hey, weird is better than normal...normal is, well...boring," Keely replied, smiling at him.

"Tell that to my peers in highschool." James said in a mock dry voice. It wasn't that he was unpopular at school - when, considering the food chain, his group of mates were about third from the bottom - he just hadn't really liked high school that much. Or, for that matter, had high school liked him.
--short, I know. -_- Sowwy.

"Eh, it gets like that...that's what I didn't like about highschool, it's way to clique most of the time," Keely replied. She stretched out lazily, grey eyes flicking around to survey their surroundings. ooc: lol is ok, my post is rather sucky <--- gawd I love this emote xD
