Jay drove slowly on the way home, worried about Monday. The old owner had 'Helped' to put her in the float. Jay was sure he'd made it worse for the poor little girl. In the end, previous owners became frustrated when trying to load her, pulling out a whip to try and coax her in. But, to no avail. Where they not watching the auction? He was highly annoyed that they insisted to 'Help'
Jay pulled into the drive, and slowly brought the ute to a halt. He hopped out, and openned the front door slowly, peaking around it hoping not to see blodd or anything, speaking as he did; "Hey girl, you alright in there?"
He quietly reached one hand over to her muzzle, with room for her to move to him, the other hand reaching for her lead, un-tying it, pausing to give her a moment to catch her breath.

Monday stood quiet in the horse float, her nostrils flared and her eyes wide open. Jeff, her previous owner had insisted on 'helping' to get her in the float. The moment he arrived, Monday had gone stock still, reverting to 'hide' mode where she would attempt to make herself invisible. The new guy that had walked by her side, watching her, had tried to coax her in to the trailer, but she stopped moving and started sweating profusely in stress and fear. ===--=== Jeff produced from his back pocket a whip. Monday saw this out of the corner of her eye, and before he could even touch it to her tender skin, she freaked, attempting to pull the lead line out of Jays hand. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched as Jeff moved away - in a fit of panic, she had once before kicked him. In return, he had added another scar to her once beautiful, scar-free body. Feeling a gentle tug on her lead-rope, Monday stopped and was bought back into the world of.. Well, almost normality. Amazed that still, she hadn't been hit, Monday leaped into the float. ===--=== She felt the float draw to a stop and instantly became anxious again. It was generally not above whoever retrieved her, to live in her new home, to do something to her whilst she was in the small, confined space. When Jeff got her out of her last trailer, he had pinched her several times. Monday was silent when Jay spoke to her. She was confused by this, but not ready to try and figure out why. His voice carried a kind tone to it, a tone unlike any she had heard for a good year or two. He touched a hand to her muzzle and she winced, awaiting the pain of a pinch.

Jay watched her wince away from his hand. He sighed.Thework ahead of him, seeming tohit home. Immediatley, he promised himself that he would help her to relax, and to trust him, atleast.
He'd now untied the lead, and stepped into the trailed, draping the lead slowly over her neck. Talking and mumbling softly to her. He didn't wanna startle her, he wanted to help her. He just hoped she understood.
He stood by her for a moment, quietly thinking to himself, trying to ease his prescence with her. Wondering if her ears would prick forward.. at any stage today.
With a sigh, he spoke to her, stepping quietly out of the float, "Okay sweetie, time to hop out."
He walked to the rear of the float, trying to keep quiet, and keep her calm, he lowered the ramp right to the ground, not letting it slam. That left the bumb bars, he stood on the left of the float, away from Monday's hind. "Ready to come back?" He reached over and stroked her rump a little, quite worried about her reaction. He un-did the bumb bar, and it swung wide-open. Jay got ready to grab her lead, which was over her neck. --

Monday stood frozen on the spot, not wanting to move at all. She had her legs firmly cemented in place and well? She wasn't moving any time soon. The attempt to soothe her came in the form of Jay's voice, talking to her gently. She watched as dust particles passed through a light beam of Autumn afternoon light. She snorted gently, watching the particles accelerate away from her nostrils. ===--=== Monday stood blissfully ignorant in the warmth that radiated from within the trailer. She allowed herself to go back into the past, where her life at Beware Estates had been calm and pleasant.. Where she had company in the form of a large Andalucian stallion, who acted more or less like a young uncle to her. ===--=== Monday was bought back into the realm of the present by Jay's soft voice once more - she wondered how long she had not been paying attention for and panicked, rapidly trying to get out of the float. Catching her foot on something, Monday reared up and clipped the back of her head on the end of the float as she turned in what looked like a painful fashion and stood outside the trailer, eyes opened wide in panic, the small cut hidden amongst her mane.

Jay watched as Monday seemed to freeze for a moment, after the bumb bar was openned. He watched, maybe she's easy to.. Spoke too soon. She sprung into action, rearing up and clipping her head on the float. He quinced, as the crack echoed through the float. She then stood, at the base of the ramp. Jay came over, slowly, but wanting to rush. "That was interesting." grabbing her lead from the ground, he tried to examine her neck/head, to see if the skin was broken. And it was. He sighed.
Holding the end of the lead, he walked up the ramp. closing the bumb bars, and checking the roof. Before stepping back, and closing the ramp. Pressing the button on his keys, to make the car lock, with a boop-boop noise. He turned back to Monday. Standing infront of her, he raised his hand to her forehead, in attempt to stroke it. Deciding wether to take her inside straight away, or not.
