Lily walked along the rows of stalls in the sale barn, her gaze drifting from horse to horse. She was hoping to finally buy her own, but nothing was really catching her eye, that is, until she saw a bay stallion standing alone in his pen. He looked kind of sad, but sweet. Walking over, she gave him a gentle pat on the neck and scratched behind his ears a little before looking at his sheet. Standardbred stallion, four years old...and unbroken. Well, he'd be a good project horse, that's for sure. And the owner only wanted $800 for him. Now that's a reasonable price for such a nice looking horse. Lily took a few steps, closing the gap between herself and the owner.
"I'll give you $800 for that stallion." she said, motioning to the horse called Deductive. She'd go higher if she needed to, she could afford it. After all, in her mind, he was a steal at this price.

Deductive Bobbed his Head as he got scratches, then just stood and watched the girl do something near his pen, He pricked his ears watching as the girl then when up to his owner and talked to him..
The man stood up as Lily walked over and made an offer on his horse, he nodded his head and handed her the lead rope and halter. He'll go far in whatever you train him in, Not a mean bone in his body...Have fun.

rofl, yay!
She wrote the man a check, handed it to him, and took the halter and lead. Walking over to the stallion, she smiled and patted his forehead. "Hey there, sweetheart. We're gonna be buds, you and I, aren't we? Ya, thatta boy." Lily kept up the chatter as she opened the door to the pen and stepped in, moving over to the horse and slipping the halter over his nose. She gave him another pat on the neck and walked him out of the pen and toward her truck and trailer. Finally, she had a horse.
ooc: i'll start a post in the stables
