James had booked Sliver for the night and pretty much given an open initiation out to people - bring yourself, and bring your friends! Footloose and fancy-free, James was turning 23. He planned to leave his 22nd year on this earth with much flourish and, if we're taking a guess, probably not with the contents of his stomach. That'd be elsewhere - I'm hoping for down a toilet, but you never know.
-- Will complete.. Laters.. Gotsa go bed nao. <33

Lily had heard about a party for one of Aura Valley's most awesome residents, and, since she didn't have any plans anyway, she figured it'd be fun to go. Besides everyone would be there and she could finally get to know some more of the people. Dressed in dark wash miniskirt and a dark green halter, she walked into the bar, which was completely empty save for a one man. She guessed he was the man of honor. With a smile on her face, she walked over to him, reaching out her hand and introducing herself. "Hi, I'm Liliana Blake. You must be the birthday boy."

Tess applied the dark mascara to her eye lashes. Then came the lip gloss, then came some blush. But that was only because she was looking a little pale after breaking her collarbone.
With a right arm in a sling, she walked down to her car. I can't drive, she thought. But she did anyway. Bouncing inside of the car, Tess put the keys in the slot and turned them. The old red ute started with a rusty crackle. She drove slowly down to the Sliver nightclub. It was time for fun! With a cheeky grin, she walked over to James and Lily, "Hey I'm Tess, I'm just home. Was at police college..." She realised they may find that uncomfortable. "But I quit so don't be worried." She joked,
Tess didn't have flexible morals, however. If someone were to drink drive she wouldn't be pleased, even although she had just drove to the nightclub in a sling.
Am I a hypocrite? Tess suddenly thought.

Dustin jumped in his car, it wasn't the type you'd see around horses it was more the type you'd see in the city in a drag race or something, which is what he'd used it for in the city. The cars engine revved as he pulled over at Sliver, he'd heard there was a party there and he wouldn't miss a party, not for anything.
Walking in Dustin looked around, there weren't many people but it was still early in the night, hopefully more would come, and there better be drink otherwise he'd have to go somewhere else. Dustin noticed the tiny crowd and walked over joining them hey, I'm Dustin, heard there was a birthday.

Keely walked in the front door of Sliver, eyes adjusting to the dim light, she looked around for James or someone else she knew. A few moments, and she had found what she was looking for, and headed towards the group of people that had congregated. The first person she came to was Tess. "Hey sis," she said, giving her a careful hug, before turning to James. "And happy birthday to you," Keely said, smiling.

James hadn't been at Sliver long before a rush of people arrived. Well, by rush he meant four. But who cares.. Hold on, is rush the plural for a group of people? Kind of like a herd of horses, a murder of librarians. That sort of thing. A rush of people. Actually, that has a disturbingly real-like sound to it.
First off, he greeted Lily. "Hello, Liliana Blake. I'm James Moore." he said with a cheeky grin on his face, "Yeah, birthday boy would be me - the big two three. And now that I've said that, it doesn't sound nearly as suave as I thought it would." he said with a chuckle. Yeah, I just managed to work the word suave into a post - and not just post, dialect too! He then motioned her in the direction of the bar, if she wanted a drink. Drinks were all on him tonight - good thing he was single and owned his house. This night was going to cost him a bit, he thought.
Then he spoke to a girl who looked oddly familiar, but he swore he'd never met her before. And she was in a sling. His mind wandered about how that'd happened, but he decided he'd ask that later. "Hello, Tess. Police college? Wow! Note to self: Never mess with Tess." he said, cracking a smile. "Well, I fix a mean car - I work at my Dad's garage. Gulf Motors." He then also motioned towards the bar for Tess if she wanted a drink, alcoholic or not.
He was then greeted (accosted? xD Nah, kidding) by a bloke named Dustin. "You heard right, mate. I'm turning 23 as of 10:52pm. I'm James, by the way." and once more, motioned towards the bar - you know the drill. xD
Annnnnnnddd. Next came Keely. Smiling, he noticed her hug Tess and say something that involved 'sis'. He stood back for a moment and watched.. Yeah, now that he thought about it, they did look somewhat alike. Sisters, if Keely was talking correctly.
"Thanks Keels." he replied, biting down the ever repetitive comeback of 'Happy birthday to you to.' Admit it. It happens to everyone

Wow, people flooded in one after another. This would be a pretty good party, by the looks of it. And it seemed like he had a lot of friends. Lily could definitely meet some people here tonight. Walking over to the bar, she got a drink she'd only just heard about. Alize and Monster. It had a blue-raspberry kind of taste to it, but it wasn't bad. Seeing Dustin walk in, she took a step his direction and said hello. "Hey, Dustin. Figured I'd see you here." Actually, she'd been hoping she see him here, since he was one of the few people she knew in town well enough to feel comfortable around.

"You're welcome. How's your birthday been so far?" she asked, smiling at him. Her eyes roved around the club, taking in the faces of all the people who had already arrived, the only people here she recognised were James, Tess and Dustin, though she was sure she'd seen the other girl, Liliana, around before.

Tess immediately grabbed a cruiser or two - she couldn't care with numbers, guzzling it down like there was no tomorrow. It was fortunate she remembered Keely was there, Tess gave a heavy sigh and trotted her way back to the crowd, noticing Dustin, she was quick to go over and greet him, especially because of the day they'd had. Tess gave no thought to being tipsy, and giggled "hiii...". She glanced over at Keely, it was pretty obvious Tess had a lot of weight on her shoulders, not just a broken collarbone - either.

Bella could never resist a party, it was in her blood. Or atleast, she thought it was. Her brain was being overly annoying lately, telling her it was bad, but she felt like something good could come out of partying, ya know? Like that feeling you get on a rollar coaster when you think your gonna throw up and you don't? But better. She walked in to the SIlver, and smiled. She walked up to the appeared birthday boy.. So im guessing your the birthday boy then? I'm Bella. She offered her hand for shaking. You are such an idiot, ya know? You never listen to me! Her brain was such a nag.

Lily took a few sips from her drink, leaning against the bar and watching the small crowd interact. Her shy side was coming out again, but she didn't know what to do or say. It wasn't often she was in a situation like this. She hadn't had much practice with it, and it didn't come naturally. She let out a sigh. She really had to work on her personal and social skills.

After realising her greeting was an embarrasment, Tess walked over to Lily. "Heyy.. Lily! I met you at the river! You look great tonight - love the shoes." Tess smilled politely, and placed her glass bottle on the bar. The bar attendant asked if she would like another. "Pff. No," she said. "I'm happy enough as is thank you"
