Bella backed the truck and trailor up to the stable. She opened the rusty door, walked around to the back of the horse trailor, and opened it. There stood her knew colt, Dawson, or Basket Case. She was yet to find out why he was called that. She opened the divider and led him out, waiting to see what he would do.

Dawson calmly let Bella lead him out of the confinements of the trailer, chestnut ears flicking forwards and backwards, listening to the sounds of the stable, and any command that might issue from her mouth. With a flick of his tail, he stopped once he had walked fully off the ramp, standing patiently, waiting for her to lead him.

Bella smiled. Well atleast yournot riding him already..jeez. Her brain taunted. Hey boy! She held her hand out toward the gelding. He looked like a jumper. I guess you'll be teaching me how to jump, huh? She reached out her hand for him to sniff.

Dawson took in Bella's scent, letting out a small woosh of air after a few moments. He took to nuzzling her hand, looking at Bella happily. He liked her, she seemed like a nice human...he liked humans, he had been handled since he was born, and he was used to them, and loved the attention they gave him.

Bella smiled. Dawnson was a nice horse. She stroked his nose. Hey boy, think we should take you to your stall? Or do you wanna go for a ride? You are an idiot! THe horse can't answer you! Retard! She ignored her brain and kept stroking the colt.

Dawson bobbed his head slightly, brown eyes looking at her in interest. He had heard the word 'ride' enough times to know what it meant, and he liked what it meant almost as much as he liked people.
