Type: Auction Registered Name: Casanova Stable Name: Casanova Starting Date: Aug 12 Closing Date: Aug 19 Asking Price: $1500 Horse or Pony: Horse Gender: Stallion Age: 3yo Breed: Hanoverian Height: 16hh Colour: chestnut Riding Style: English Example Post: The firey chestnut whinnied and tossed his head as the groom tried to lead him into the arena. Casanova cantered in, dragging the poor man behind him. His chestnut coat glinted in the light as he jigged around the ring. The man just coudn't control him. Maybe if he'd put a chain shank on the halter he wouldn't have a problem. Casanova was a stallion, and a young one. Add no training and little human contact to that equation and you've got a problem. That's what he was. A problem with world-class bloodlines and a whole lot of potential.
"Now entering the ring, hip number 46, Casanova. Three-year-old chestnut Hanoverian stallion. This horse has world-class bloodlines, ladies and gentleman. Reason for sale is listed as death of the owner. Unlucky for the famiy, but lucky for you folks. Listed at a steal of $1500. Do I hear any bids?"

This was the one Tony had been waiting for for the past 2 hours. He'd seen him in the auction catalogue and even checked him out over at the barns. In the two hours after checking him over he'd seen two-year olds, veterans, companions, and ponies. Finally, Casanova came to the ring. Tony waited, watching other people to see if anyone else was planning on bidding. After noone had bid for approxiamatly 2 minutes he raised his card, number 201 and shouted, $1500 to the auctioneer, all the time watching the young stallion prance around.
[sorry its not v.good and I hope you're still taking bids?]

ooc: of course i'm still taking bids...and i'm super excited someone has finally posted, rofl...i hope you'll be more active than my other owner (sry, alyssa, luv ya dear)
The auctioneer continued to pry the crowd, waiting for a bid of some kind, any kind. He knew this horse would be hard to get rid of, considering his temperament, but he had a lot of talent for a patient, experienced rider and trainer. Casanova pranced around the ring, dragging his poor groom behind him the whole way. The man would probably never want to work with horses again after this. The horse would occasionally rear or throw a small buck or kick as he called to the other horses. He wanted out of here, and now! Finally, a man near the ring called out a bid. "$1500 by the man on the fence, thank you sir. Going once, going twice...sold, to card number 201 for $1500. Congratulations, sir. You may collect your horse in the stables, and good luck." He had a feeling he would need it.
