A blue roan mare cantered up a hill. Her dark mane flowed behind her. Her name? Ame. Ame came to a halt with rear up. She shook her black head and stood tall. Her mane and tail flowed side ways with the wind. When the wind stopped, her fetlock fell back into place. She snorted and shook her head, keeping the fetlock out of her eyes.

AQUA MARINE Pillers carry her muscled bodice as it rocked a fluid three-beat into the lands. Daggers smacked the ground heavily, leaving clouds of dirt behind her. Tassles flew off of her neck, tapping back down every once and awhile. As she canterd towards the scent of another horse, she sounded like a band. Her constant three-beat keeping the beat, her tassles adding into it, and now for her solo. Her schirll high pitched whinny echoed through the air. It hung there, with no reply.
She quickend her pace, daggers golbing up the ground beneath her. Her nostils were flaring wide, her eyes flickering all around her. Ears flicked back and forth. Side to side. She took in everything and anything around her. Waiting, just waiting for the sight, scent, sound of another horse.
On her way here she had passed many creatures, rabbits, bears, birds just knowing, almost sensing that soon she would find more horses. Now she was closer than she had imagined. It had been to long since she had seen another horse. The last ones she had seen were odd. They were stuck behind something, and when she touched it it shocked her, sending a tingling feeling through her body. She quickly took off, bucking. Guessing it was some sort of fly. But she was suprised the other horses didnt follow, or get stung.
Since then, she had been on the move. As soon as she caught scent of horses in this area, she had immediatly made her way over here. Not stopping once on the way.
Now that she was closer, she slowed down to a smooth two-beat. Her tail flowing out behind her like a banner behind a plane. She soon caught sight of another horse. A blue roan mare. She slowed down to a calm 4-beat, and let out another whinny. This one was lower, and more relaxed, but still anxious. Aqua was prepared for the mare to lash our at her, like other horses she met. She stopped, about 10 feet away, and waited for the mares reply.

Ame turned her gray body towards the sound of hoofbeats. Her brown eyes watched the horse that had stopped in front of her. This mare was much skinnier than most horse she had seen out in the wilderness. "Must not be a Mustang," Ame thought. She whinnied a Hello to the Buckskin mare.

Take a bow
Her thin neck lifted her pear shaped head into the air. Nostrils still flaring wide, taking in her femine scent. Are these your lands She asked, stepping another step forward, before she stopped and waited for a reply from the new mare.
As she waited her eyes flicked over the new horse, looking over every part of her body. Trying to figure out if she would be fast, or jump over things well.
She herself, wasnt built very sturdyt, but she was very quick, and could jump well enough. Her arab blood lines gave her her tail, bodice, and face. But everything else was her father. She wasnt quite sure what it was, considering she never met him. But she had been told, over the years, after meeting horses that had been tamed, who had known him.

"Yes, This part is." The Blue roan mare whinnied softly. She noticed the new mare was studing her. She held her black head high, the wind started picking up. "I won't lash out, incase you're wondering." Ame nickered with her black mane in her face.

Trust is quite important I see Aqua paused, should she really trust her. Take the chance of getting hurt, just to rest here? Well, the mare seemed sincear, so why not? She was pretty sure this mare wasnt much stronger than her. And if she was, sure was certin she could outrun her. That had always been her best asset.
This fem seemed rather nice. Nicer than most horses she knew. Too nice, but she needed a place to stay, and she knew that trusting this mare would be the only way to stay here.
She walked up to the roaned mare, placing one piller out, dagger stabbing at the ground. She tucked her delicate head below her chest, bowing to the Queen of these lands. She threw hear head up, tassles flowing in the air. Her eyes gazed into the other mares, trying to act like she fully trusted her, but her ears were pricked forward, and she was ready to take off at any moment. Where are these lands, that you call home? She asked, as she pulled her leg back, shifting her bodice to one side, but still in a positing where she could get up and go quite quickly.

Nostrils flared as the gray mare lifted her head, smelling the air around her. There were new scents on the breeze. Horses she did not know were on her lands. Picking up a smooth tri-beat, she quickly moved across the terra, coming to a halt in front of a couple of mares. Her maws opened in friendly greeting.
"Welcome to Billow Glades. I am Aria, ruler of these lands. What brings you here, and pray, what are your names?"
The answer to the first was simple, she was sure they were here seeking a home, as most equines who wandered into a new terra were. Their names, however, were unknown to her.

How dare you lie to me? Aqua turned sharply on her haunches. Lifting her head high, lips curled back, showing her ivories. Her ears pinned back as she faced the roan mare, whom has called herself the ruler. You may not lash out, but i will. You b*itch Aqua waited, to let the pathetic lyer try and defend herself.
With a short temper, Aqua had made many enemies over the years. As she waited for the other mare to reply, she bowed quickly. Not taking her eyes off the roan mare for a second. Im Aqua Marine. She backed up, letting her lips hang back over her ivories now, her eyes still glued to the roan fem. She backed up, untill the mare would not be able to touch her without taking a few steps, just so she could make more of an effort to speak with Aria. I am here, to ask if i may stay a few nights. I have never been part of a herd, and i would like to 'view one, before i join one

Aria pinned her ears back and stomped a hoof on the ground. Raising her voice slightly in an authoritative tone, she addressed them. "I will not have fighting in my lands. If you wish stay in peace, you may. However, if you plan on disturbing this peaceful place, I am afraid you will have to leave, or take your squabbles to Rocky Plateau." This was her terra, and it was hers to command and protect. Fighting had no place here, and she would not, under any circumstances, allow it.

Could you do me a favor?
Fighting her is usless. And not worth my time. I dont need to argue with her at the moment. Insted i would like to talk to you, Aria She turned her bodice away from Ame. Her ears moving, taking in every noise around her. 'Better to be safe that sorry i guess'
Aqua took two steps back, and bowed infront of the new mare. My name is Aqua Marine She spoke, still bowing. After a second she raised petit face, chocolate brown eyes contecting with Aria's for a moment, before speaking once more.
I have never been apart of a herd before, and i was wondering if i could 'view' yours, for a day or two, before deciding if i want to join one. I know its alot to ask, but it would be greatly apreciated. She waited for the Queens reply. Her banner swished around by her hocks, flicking around her barrel every once and awhile, swatting at the last few wasps of the season.
She cocked her back hoof, trying to look relaxed, but never letting Ame out of her mind. Always ready to protect herself. Sometime vital, she had learned over the years being alone.

She smelled yet more new arrivals, and heard their rumbling voices before she saw them. The ebony vixen followed those scents and sounds until the two unknown horses came into her vision. As she trotted closer, she saw Aria step toward the horses, and what appeared to be a somewhat heated debate followed shortly. Ravenna stepped carefully now, stopping just short of the small circle the three mares made, just close enough to hear the words being thrown about. She glanced from the one called Aqua to the other, curious as to what the roan had done or said to cause such a reaction in this one that called herself Aqua Marine. She watched Aria try to restore order to these horses that weren't hers in these lands she had so newly taken from Valentino, and watched Aqua's response with interest. Ah, it seemed this one had some spirit, with the illusion of well-timed submission to soothe Aria's nerves. Ravenna felt herself be drawn to this mare called Aqua Marine, and was compelled to move closer. She paused before she infringed upon their circle, but tossed her mane and angled her muzzle toward Aqua, as if to try to get a better feel for this interesting newcomer.

Please remember that post order is important, also remember that Neka started this thread and she now seems to be forgotten within it. Backtrack, if you will.
It is also stated that, though there is a ruler of the lands, other herds may exist within. Kind of like any herd in the Cascades, but Thowra ruled the Cascades - if any of you have ever read the Silver Brumby?

{{wow alot of people posted while I was sleeping...}}
"Aria, I'm sorry. I did not scent you owned these lands." Ame lowered her head. Clucking her jaw. She turned towards Aqua and snorted. "If I can ask, May I join you're herd?" Ame asked raising her head again.

Are we young, because we still play games. Ame, must we play these games? We both seek the similar things. She replied to the mares snort. She turned her attention the the new mare quickly. Hello, my name is Aqua Marine, and you are? Her voice was sweeter than when she had spoken to Ame. Although she didn't sound harsh to the mare, there wasn't much sweetness. Her vocals had almost been monotone. She flipped her tassels through the air. Her forelock fell off to the side of her pear shaped head. Sitting over half of one of her eyes. She turned her bodice, so that she could see all the horses. ' I wonder how many more will show up to our little *party* ' . She chuckled to herself, inside her head, again. She really needed to stop this other conversation in her head.

Ravenna raised her head. I am Ravenna. She turned her gaze to include both new mares. Will you both be joining us here in Billow Glades? Ravenna was somewhat cautious, for she sensed the one called Aqua Marine could bring trouble. However, she felt as though she might sense a kindred spirit in this other mare, for her fiery spirit was apparent, reminding Ravenna of the other equine she had known and loved as a young filly.
