Time to sit back and relax

Austin noticed to constant shifting and stood up slowly, a few things popping as he finally made it to his feet and offered her his hands. "Lemme help you up, you want to walk around a bit?" He questioned sweetly, he thought she would be getting uncomfortable on the ground pretty soon.

"When we're done would you like a ride home or somewhere else? You're welcome to come over to my place for a while if you don't want to be alone." He offered kindly, he didn't want her to be alone so far a long in her pregnancy, never knew then a woman would go into early labor and then she wouldn't be able to get to the hospital.

"Thanks," she said, letting him help her up. "Sure, I'll come over for a while...I have my car here though, so I'll just follow you there?"
She reached down and picked up her shoes before putting them on and brushed the bits of grass and stuff that had attached itself to her clothes off.

Austin nodded "You can follow me with your car, wouldn't want you to leave it here where you can't watch over it!" he had a point, he would feel really bad if someone messed with her car while she was at his place. "And I promise Devin isn't contagious anymore." Austin chuckled and waited for her to start walking and then they did he saw how sitting on the ground affected her, her waddle was just a little stiff now but he made no comment, just stayed walking slow beside her.

"You know, Devin is going to be so happy when he sees you, your all he talks about. Me father even asked me about you." he chuckled softly and shook his head. Devin brought her up every time he saw Austin, he always wondered where Keely was.

"Yeah, I'll follow you, it's probably the best way to go," she replied.
Keely laughed softly at hearing that Devin wouldn't stop talking about her.
"Well, it's good to hear he likes me," she said, pushing her hair out of her face with one hand, a smile on her face.

Austin walked beside Keely for a while before they bad it back round to where they had been parked. He sighed "well you ready? just gotta pick up Devin from my dads which is in the same apartment complex as mine so I'll show you to mine before I go get Devin to avoid you having to get stuck talking with my father for the next hour!" with that Austin chuckled and shook his head. Its how hiw dad was, he would talk someone new's ear off.

Austin was ready to pick up Devin and make sure he was feeling okay, sometimes his father took Devin being sick as acting out for attention but then again his father wasn't up all night rubbing his son's back over the toilet.

"Sounds like a plan to me," Keely replied, giving him another smile.
Keys jingling in one hand, Keely started off towards her car, humming a soft tune to herself as she went. A few brief moments later she had reached her car, unlocked it and got in, waiting for Austin to go first so she could follow him.

By the time Keely was ready to go he too was, his truck all started up, roaring as he placed it in drive and started to drive off. He hung a right but didn't drive to fast, his apartment was only 5 minutes away so there was no real reason to fly around like it was a long ways away.

Once they reached the complex he parked and hopped out, and when she was ready he handed her his keys. "I'm that door right there!" he told her carefully and pointed at the door marked with the number 5. "I'll be in there in 2 minutes, I'm just gonna go grab Devin" after his last few words he walked the other way towards the apartment marked 10 and opened the door slowly and quietly. His father blue heeler not barking for once, Austin's dad was half asleep on the chair and Devin wasn't in sight. "Wheres Devin?" he questioned his half asleep father respectably

Justin opened his eyes partly and looked over at Austin "In my bedroom, he just fell asleep not to long ago, was fussing all day." he grumbled quietly and closed his eyes again. Austin said no more as his father started to drift off again, he just snuck around the apartment and into his fathers bedroom where Devin was curled up on top of the blankets. Austin let out a sigh and walked to the side of the bed and scooped him up into his arms.

Devin practically woke up, he wrapped his arms around Austin's neck and whined slightly "I don't feel good" was the first thing he said, his little voice horse in tone made Austin sigh. "Well bub, I'm sorry. Lets get home and I'll see what I can do!" he offered in a whisper and walked out of the bedroom and straight for the door, he didn't bother waking his father to say good bye. Since his father didn't take much care of Devin, just set him down on the bed to let him feel sick and he still was, he probably wouldn't eat and he was pale, his eyes all red shot. He just didn't look like he felt all that good.

Keely let herself into Austin's apartment, once inside setting his keys down on a table. She wandered a little further in, green eyes taking in his appartment as she stood there waiting for Austin to come in with Devin, mind wandering over a few different things as she looked around. Sighing, she realised she had been pacing around, so she stopped, one hand resting on her stomach as the baby started up with its kicking.

Austin walked in quietly and closed the door back up behind himself. "Make yourself at home Keely, I'm going to get into my bedroom with Devin for a few minutes, your welcome to join us but I wouldn't want you getting sick, I thought ht was better htis morning but he looks just as sick as last night" A frustrated sigh pushed its way out of his lungs.

Devin kept his eyes closed and his arms around Austin until they were in his dads bedroom, he then opened his eyes, looking around a little before another whine snuck up on him and he wiggled a little in Austin's arms. Austin sat him on the edge up the bed softly "Whats wrong with you? You aren't gonna throw up anymore are you?" He wanted to know how Devin was feeling before anything else happened.

Devin rubbed his belly and shrugged his shoulders a little, he knew his stomach hurt but he didn't want to think he'd puke again so he didn't answer it. "Well, should I tell the girl to go home then? If your gonna not tell me I think you just might, you better tell me if your gonna puke bub, I don't want you to miss the bathroom!!" Austin didn't sigh like he wanted to. This wasn't fair to Keely but if she wanted to stay she was welcome to.

Devin didn't say anything, he just looked straight ahead with his hand on his stomach, he was scared to move just in case it made him sick.

"I'll wait out here," she replied softly, she too agreed it wouldn't be good if she got sick right now.
She sat down on his couch, perched on the edge of it, waiting patiently for Austin to come out again. Devin hadn't looked well at all, she hoped it wasn't anything too bad.

Austin rubbed Devin's back softly, then hugged onto him softly. "Will you lay down for a little while, while I hang out with the girl?" he asked nicely. Devin nodded but didn't move, he was still scared to but soon after hr nodded Austin picked him up and pulled the blankets out, put Devin down on the sheet then tucked him in.

"You take a nap and I'll be in shortly" he whispered before walking out of his bedroom door and closing it quietly. "Sorry about that, I don't know whats wrong with him, just a bug or something I suppose." he shrugged and stood a bit in front of Keely "would you like something to drink?" Austin smiled to her sweetly, it was something special when he could go from complete dad mode and his son being sick to a very, charming man. But he did the transition well.

Keely spent the next few minutes looking around Austin's apartment as she waited for him to come back out.
"Mm, hopefully it passes soon...have you taken him to a doctor about it? Oh, a glass of water would be good thanks," she replied, looking up at Austin as he stood in front of her.

Austin was in the kitchen before he answered her, the kitchen was right on top of the living room but it was organized nicely do it all went together right. He sighed "You know, I haven't taken him yet. I'm really just thinking he has a stomach bug, if hes' not better by tomorrow morning I will have to bring him to the doctors..." He trailed off as he started walking back to her, he sat down and handed her the glass of water she had asked for. He had a beer in his hand that he placed on the table. He only had one if Devin was sleeping or not around to see what he had.

"So how have you been feeling lately? I hear it gets pretty uncomfortable from 23 weeks on to birth, I hope your not to uncomfortable...You know, if you ever want the massage I promise it'd make you feel better!" he offered kindly, all he wanted to do was make her feel comfortable and happy...He would try.

Keely accepted the glass he handed to her with a quiet murmur of thanks, taking a sip as she listened to Austin talk. She rested the glass on her knee after he finished speaking, holding on to it firmly so it wouldn't fall.
"I've been doing alright, haven't been able to sleep so good though, and I've been getting kinda sore and stressed. Walking for too long and standing up can be a pain, but other than that...Not so bad," she replied, letting out a light laugh before taking another sip of her water.

Austin nodded and took a sip of the beer he had set on the coffee table in front of them, he started to put it down when he heard his door crack open so he picked it back up and held it, hiding it under a couch pillow "Watcha need bub?" he called out to the little crack in the door that was opening more but slowly.

"Um...I" Devin looked over at Keely but then turned his gaze back to Austin, his little face looking all sad as he bottom lip started to shake a little, he didn't want to get in trouble but he had to tell "I peed on your bed when I was sleeping..." he whispered only loud enough to be heard, he then lowered his head and took a big heaving breath and sniffed.

Austin rubbed his face frustrated and let out a sigh "Why didn't you wake up and go pee?" he asked standing up, his voice stern in tone as he set the half full beer down on the table with a clank. Devin backed away slowly as Austin walked closer to him but he just walked passed him "Go change, now." Austin bit out with another heavy sigh as the threw his pillows onto the floor by the foot of his bed before he started to strip the sheets off "You just went all out didn't you son? didn't bother to stop yourself, just emptied your bladder on my bed!" Austin wasn't one to hit Devin, he just usually punished him verbally but he knew what the leather of his fathers belt felt like that was for sure. It wasn't abuse but this is just how Austin was raised so it was the only way he knew to raise Devin.

Devin stood there, tears dripping from his eyes as he stood there listening to his dad, if he dared leave when he was talking he would be in even bigger trouble. Once Austin finished embarrassing him he walked to his room slowly and pulled open his dresser drawer, grabbed new clothes and changed slowly, sniffling up his tears and runny nose.

Austin shoved all his sheets into the washing machine then walked back out the laundry room and sighed just once more. "Sorry about that Keely, its just the same thing everyday it seems like..." Austin said and rubbed his face then scratched his head. He knew he was a bit rough with how he treated Devin but he let himself lose his temper a little.
