Austin stood to go take the chicken off the stove, it was done for sure. He didn't want to ruin it so he quickly jogged around the corner and into the kitchen, luckily it looked great, no burnt edges. "He's just something else, he's a strong kid. He's seen so many woman come in and out of our lives, that's why he don't get attached I suppose..." his words trailed off as he started to late the chicken, rice spooned right next to it. He picked then both up at once and walked over to the table and set them down. "Alright, come on and be honest with how it tastes!" Austin chuckled and pulled a chair out for Keely to sit in.

She listened to Austin speaking as he went and got the rest of their food ready, hands resting lightly on top of her stomach. Keely stood up when Austin brought he plates out and sat in the chair he had pulled out for her, giving him a smile before she sat down. She waited for him to sit down before starting though, she didn't want to seem rude or anything.

Austin sat down once Keely was sitting and scooted himself in closer. He grabbed his fork and knife and started to cut his, his family always sat down after the women, it was how he was taught and it paid off because it was nice not to be rude, and it was rude to not take care of a lady, weather you liked her or not.
He stabbed a piece with his fork and silently placed it in his mouth, it was pretty good but he wasn't one to give himself compliments and it really didn't matter what he thought about it when he mainly made it for somebody else, it really only mattered what Keely thought about it and he hoped she though it was alright.

"Mm, this is really good," Keely said after she swallowed her first mouthful of food, giving Austin a quick smile as she spoke. She hadn't had anything like this in a while, she normally didn't have time to cook much so she normally just chucked the usual veggies and such on to cook, keeping it simple. She started cutting another piece, not going overly quick, she wasn't fussed on when she got home, just as long as she did.

Austin gave a thumbs up as he chewed. "Thank you" he said once he swallowed, he was a pretty slow eater himself if he didn't have anywhere to go which it was night time so there wasn't much for him to do.
Austin finished after about 15 minutes of small talk and chewing and stood up slowly. "May I talk your plate?" he questioned softly, glancing at the clock on the wall, it was already 9:30. Probably time for miss Keely to head home and get to bed, he didn't want to keep her out to late...That wouldn't be wise for a pregnant woman.

Keely smiled and handed Austin her plate, beginning to stand up after he had taken it. Smoothing out the front of her dress, she too looked at the time, thinking that she should probably be getting home now, if she didn't go to sleep soon she wouldn't get up when she wanted to in the morning. "Thanks for dinner, it was really nice...But I should probably get going now," she said.

"You are quiet welcome Keely, I was thinking the same thing. Don't want to keep you from doing your things in the morning if I got you out so late" He walked with her to the front door and stopped there with his hand on the door nob ready to open it for her "Thanks for coming, I'm glad you enjoyed dinner..." he paused, making that strong eye contacted that scared the piss out of him but oddly he acted on it and before Austin could tell himself he shouldn't his lips were already touching hers, for all his faults his good kissing washed them all away but this was the first time he ever acted before thinking it through.

Keely almost jumped a mile into the air when Austin's lips touched hers, and a split second later had pulled quickly away from him, a shocked look on her face. She hadn't been expecting that at all, and was at a complete loss of words as to what to say. After a few more moments she finally found her voice again. "I...I'm going to go now," she said, tones quiet, voice shaking slightly.

Austin had pulled away as well, he looked to the ground searching for the hole he should be falling into and breaking his back so he didn't feel like such an idiot anymore, hearing the shake in her voice made him want to kick himself straight in the face but he wasn't able to so he needed to say something quickly before she ran away and never called him again. "I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking..." He said with that same shake in his voice, he pulled open the door for her. "Please forgive me..." he asked softly, his head rested against the door as it was opened.

"I don't know...I can't think straight right now," she replied, the tremble still in her voice. She started walking out the door, though her legs felt like jelly she found the strength to keep walking. Keely felt like she was about to burst into tears, she really didn't know what to think about what had just happened.

He sighed heavily once he left and shut, locked the door. "I'm an idiot..." He said just looking up and seeing Devin standing there. "Whats wrong daddy?" he asked and walked up to him and grabbing his hand.
"Dad's an idiot, I made a big mistake!" he stated sadly and took Devin's hand, letting him lead them into Austin's bedroom. Devin didn't say anything else, he was smart enough to know that what his dad said was all he wanted to say about it.
