Aria watched him as he played in the fresh snow, his coat a stark contrast against it. Deciding it wasn't really that much warmer where she was, she joined him, but at a walk. He was all energy, it seemed, but she was more reserved. Maybe a little time with Courage would change that a little.

Courage kicked up the snow with his hind legs, he started to get a few bits of snow on his back and in his mane. With a snort courage suddenly dropped to his knees, then lay on his side, he started rolling in the snow. After a few minutes Courage lay there looking at Aria, he whinnied happily but didn't get up.

Aria laughed as she watched him roll in the snow. He was always doing things like that to make her laugh. He was like a little colt, and the thought made her think for a moment. A foal, that would be nice. But she quickly pushed the thought away. There was no time for that now, and it was far too soon anyway. Snow flecked her gray body, in some places going unnoticed. She'd always liked the snow.

Courage lifted himself onto his feet after a few minutes of laying in the snow, his chestnut coat was covered in the whiteness, snorting, he quickly shook himself getting rid of what wasn't sticking to his coat. Courage trotted over to Aria and nudged her gently. have some fun, seriously, it does more good than bad.. He whinnied and suddenly turned on his hind legs breaking into a powerful canter, his muscles rippling under his coat.

She blushed a little in embarrassment. He had a point, she was a little too reserved at times. A little fun wouldn't kill her. It's just that she hadn't had much time to have fun when she was little. Everything had been ripped away so quickly. Aria smiled and cantered after him, quickly catching up, and she picked up her pace as she passed him, kicking up snow behind her. Her mane and tail streamed in the wind, and she lifted her face to feel the cool wind rush against her.

Courage smiled as he heard Aria start cantering after him, he watched her pass him and in a few short seconds he'd ducked to the side, into the trees. Courage moved swiftly through the trees, keeping an eye on Aria, he reached a point where he was hidden and stopped, waiting to see how long it would take Aria to notice he was gone.

The mare was enjoying the wind in her face. It had been so long since she'd run without care. Maybe Courage was a blessing in disguise. At the thought she turned to look at...where he had been only a minute before. She quickly slowed to a stop and turned around. Where had he gone? A slightly worried look appeared on her face. Calming herself, she lifted her head and gave a nicker. Aria retraced her steps slowly, trying to find where his hoofprints had stopped.

Courage watched Aria from his hiding place, he followed her quietly and suddenly burst out and whinnied. With a smile, Courage pranced around happily, he looked like a young colt that had just acheived something, he was still young, which in his eyes, meant he could act it, when he could anyway. Stopping to look at Aria Courage nickered softly.

Aria jumped and half-reared when Courage appeared, whinnying in surprise as he did. She shook her head as she watched him prance around. What a colt. He'd never really grown up, and she didn't expect him to. Besides she liked him the way he was. "I will get you back for that, you know that, right?" She wasn't sure how, but she would.

Courage whinnied happily, and pranced around throwing his head around proudly, one day he'd grow up and act like a stallion, but they shouldn't expect it anytime soon, he was too immature for that. im sure you will...one day.. With another Toss of his head, Courage started cantering.

She shook her head at him, then cantered after him. He really was an interesting horse. But she liked him, she she felt that she could trust him. Aria needed to trust someone, have someone she could lean on. This leadership was a burden on her. One she would gladly carry, but she knew it would eventually take its toll on her if she had to carry it all by herself. Coming up behind him, she nipped his rump lightly and turned, cantering the opposite direction.
