Today was the day. Keely was finally picking up Strella from the auction house. She'd had to borrow a trailer from Epoir Estate though, she'd have to invest in one soon. She pulled carefully into the loading yard once she arrived, it wasn't that far from the stables, luckily. Killing the engine, Keely got out and went in search for the person in charge of helping with loading, and soon she was waiting for them to bring Strella out. She leaned against the side of the trailer once she'd let the back down and double checked that everything was in order, letting her mind wander. Her thoughts switched from James and Leo, to Strella and how she was going to handle the first few days he was with her, to other less important things.
ooc: Sorry. I was stupid and left it til 2am >.>

After Strella’s performance, he had been quickly escorted into a small pen outside, and left. The wind had picked up, but Strella was happy enough to be alone. Infact, he enjoyed the quiet hours, where he was left to pick at small sprouts of grass, and roll his itchy sweaty coat in layers of warm mud. All too quickly though, un-invited company returned, and left him where he was now.
With his halter tied rather too tightly to the side of the pen, the black stallion snorted. He dragged his delicate shod hoof through the dry dirt, and called intently to the man who had tied him up a few minutes ago. Where had he gone? Tossing his head, as far as the rope would let him, Strella swiped his tail at annoying hovering bugs. It was only a matter of minutes before his raspy calls were answered, and a short dirty man limped over to the horse. His leathery hands undid the slip knot, and eagerly the tall stallion followed, ears perked.
The sound of his hooves on the flat concrete danced through the passage ways, as soon the man led Strella around the last corner, to where a lady and vehicle awaited. Strella snorted and rolled his ears impatiently, and the rope grew some slack, and the man removed his dirty hat. “Sorry for being late ma’am. We had a bit of trouble with the horse before yours.” He nodded, and quickly stopped Strella’s black velvety muzzle from grazing the slightly tidier grounds out the front. Strella sighed, and lifted his head. Wait a minute. He stretched out his muscular onyx neck, scanning the smells and sights of the human before him. He had seen her before. Stamping his hoof, The large gorgeous stallion pulled his head out of the grasp of the tough man, and pranced slightly on the curve where the concrete and grass met. Urging him to let him forward. Let him she her again.

Keely had straightened up when she spotted the man bringing Strella out to the trailer, eyes appraising what parts of the stallion that were visible to make sure he was still sound and in good condition. "That's perfectly fine, those sort of things can't be helped," she replied when he spoke, giving a quick smile in assurance that she really didn't mind. "Hey boy," Keely murmured, turning her attention to Strella when he reached towards her, carefully walking around him so she was standing near the side of his head, murmuring to him the whole time. She didn't rush, just taking her time so he wouldn't startle, and so he could get used to her.

Strella's ears perked curiously, loud snorts falling inquisitively from his nostrils. The man gently, but firmly held the lead now, as the stallion has much softened off, compared to before. He had been on a mission, pulling the man down the paths like a small toy. He hadn't intended to do this, but his excitement had been building up, and the man's slowness had just been holding his back! It seemed he was a gentle giant...But indeed, a very VERY strong one!
The older man smiled and nodded to the lady, watching as she slowly and carefully circled around the front of the onyx creature. He slowly lowered his delicate cranium, Dark eyes shining down into her face. Extending his neck, he very carefully bumped his velvet nose against her cheek. His clipped black whiskers skimmed over her skin, as she wafted his sweet scent through his nostrils.
"Miss, It seems he likes Yer'!" The man chuckled lowly, slightly handing out the lead for her to take. "That'd be a first.." He added quietly, under his breath. But, it was true. When had he ever been EXCITED to visit somebody? Actually come up to them, instead of laying back his small silky ears, and backing fiercely away? Pinching his lips together, he reached out his leathery hand, softly slapping the horses neck in a welcomed pat. At least this was one lucky horse, going to a good home.
