ooc: really original subject, rofl
Lily stopped her pickup in front of the barn. She got out and walked back to the trailer, picking up a light chatter as she opened the door. She stepped in and untied his leadline, hoping he'd been trained to back up. "Easy boy, here we go."

Deductive stood quietly As Lily opened the trailer and untied his lead-rope, he flicked his ears around and slowly backed out stopping halfway out, Deductive looked around him and snorted before back completely off of the trailer. Deductive stood quietly flicking his tail and looking around, everything smelled and looked new, there where even different sounds, he shook his hid and rubbed against Lily for a wanted hug.

The girl followed Deductive down the ramp, letting him take his time and even pausing halfway down to let him look around. She wanted him to set his own pace and be comfortable as he got used to his new home.
Lily laughed as the horse rubbed against her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a big hug, then scratched behind his ears again before moving down to rub his face. She was sure she'd found a special friend in this one. Tying him by the barn where he had access to a water trough and some grass, she quickly closed up the trailer and parked her truck, unhooking the trailer in the process. It didn't take her ten minutes and she was back at his side, rubbing his neck as she spoke to him.
"Okay, boy, what should we do? Would you rather run around in the paddock for a little while, or maybe just chill in your new stall? Or I guess we could start a little training."

Deductive calmly walked Toward the barn where he was tied up, Remembering what he's previous owner had taught him, Dedustive waited for Lily to return. Only pawing the ground slightly as she came back, Deductive pricked his his and nickered a greeting and bobbed his head, He had always been a very friendly horse.

"Sorry I kept you waiting boy. I think I'll let you run around for a few minutes in the paddock. We'll go from there." She untied the stallion and lead him toward an empty fenced area. Lily wondered how he'd be with other horses, but she figured she see when the time came. As they approached the gate, she opened it and lead him in, closing it behind them. She reached over and unlatched his halter, gently sliding it off so he could move freely. "There you go, sweety. I bet that feels better."

Deductive nipped at Lily's fingers as she walked him to the pasture, he turned around briskly as she shut the gate so it wouldn't his his rump, then stood looking around and snorting. Once she unclipped his halter, he tensed all his muscles like he was gonna run, but instead just stood next to Lily. a cheeky look crossed his face and he gave her a hard whack with his head, then rubbed up against her to make sure she was alright..

Lily thought he would take off as soon as his halter was off, but instead he just stood there...and head-butted her. Then he rubbed his head against her like a sweetheart. What was this, a Sour Patch Kids commercial? "First he's sour, then he's sweet." Interesting. "You are one of the strangest horses I've ever met. That hurt, you know." But she was smiling when she said it. She rubbed her arm where he'd hit her, shaking her head slightly as she tried to make out this horse. Reaching out her hand, she patted his neck under his mane. "I'm going to have to treat you like a kid if you don't watch it. I spank, you know. Hitting isn't nice, but i know you're just playing. Or at least I hope you're just playing."

Deductive snorted and stomped his back hoof, He was a horse with a personality and a half, looking around Deductive enjoyed the hugs he was receiving. He pricked his ears as she started talking, almost as if he understood every wood she said, even though he hadn't a clue..

"You're just an attention hog, aren't you?" She laughed as she scratched his neck and up behind his ears, keeping an eye on him at all times lest he try to head-butt her again. Lily thought about what kind of training he'd need and where to start. The owner had mentioned he'd been lunged with tack, but never ridden. Well, at least she wasn't starting from scratch. Still, it was going to be a lot of work if he was going to be mischievous like this.

Deductive nickered, loving every bit of attention he was getting, at the moment it was fun time, she wasn't asking him to do anything, so there was no need to concentrate. Deductive once again threw his head towards lily, one thing she'd learn about him...he has a hard head, he finished his head butt by nipping at her fingers.

Lily saw the head-butt coming just in time and quickly dodged it, but wasn't quite fast enough. He still got her in the arm. "You little stinker. Hey stop nibbling on my fingers. If you want a treat I'll just give you one." She reached into her pocket and pulled something out, holding in her palm near his muzzle. "Hope you like sugar cubes. It's all I have right now."

Deductive snorted and relaxed his hind foot, so he was sorta leaning on Lily, he snatched for the sugar cube almost taking her fingers with it. Deductive straightened up and started pawing the ground impatiently, he was bored. To entertain himself he stood throwing his head at Lily continuesly.

"Hey, easy there. I'd like to have five fingers when we're through here." Apparently, the stallion was getting bored, because he continued to throw his head at her, like some kind of target practice or something. "Okay, okay. I think we should start your training. What do you say we go over to the arena? Then you can work off some of that energy of yours and stop hitting me. I swear I'm getting bruises."

Deductive pricked his ears and nickered but still continued to throw his head towards Lily, it wasn't really that entertaining but it was better than standing there doing nothing. Letting out a sigh, Deductive stopped headbutting Lily and begun rubbing his head against her instead.

"Okay, we're going, we're going." She pushed his head away a little so she could put his halter back on. Sliding it over his head, she clasped it again and opened the gate, leading him out. Lily headed toward the arena, going over in her mind what they would do. She'd probably start with a little lunging to get him warmed up, then see how he'd handle a little weight on his back. It all depended on what he knew and what he had yet to learn, not to mention what he would tolerate.
