"That's a good boy. Sorry, I wasn't gone long. But I'm glad to see that you missed me." She was also glad to see that he liked carrots. Next time she'd have to try apples and figure out what he liked best. Once she was out of carrot pieces, she hooked his lead to his halter and undid the cross-ties, leading him toward the paddock again. She'd left the gate open, so she led him straight in, turned him around, and shut the gate with both of them inside. Then she unlatched his halter and the wet leather off of his head. "There ya go. Now you can go roll and get all dirty again."

Deductive, walked beside Lily to the paddock, he wanted to take off and drag her behind, but he wouldn't because that would hurt her, and then he'd get scolded, so instead he quietly walked in and turned around so she could shut the gate. Once he was unlatched, Deductive stood beside Lily and looked at her, He'd been taught not to walk/run away until he was sure they where done with him, one of the first things he'd learnt.

Wow, he was really well trained. He didn't even run off as soon as the halter was off, like most horses. It seemed like he'd been trained to go only when the person told him it was okay. "It's alright, go ahead. Take off." She motioned for him to go, hoping he'd get the point. Lily had nothing more planned for him today, so he could just let loose and have fun. He was free for a while until he'd have to go in for the night.

Deductive looked at Lily with Lovable eyes, He pricked his ears forward and shook his head. Deductive Watched a bird fly away and shied into Lily, he tossed his head. As she gave the signal for him to go, Deductive slowly walked away and found a patch of dirt, He sniffed then started rolling.

"Easy there." She took a step to the side as he shied from the bird, then walked over and hopped onto the top rung of the fence to watch him dust himself. The sun was getting lower in the western sky, but it was still a nice afternoon. He'd have a few hours to play and relax before someone brought him in for the night.

Deductive Trotted away a bit then broke into a gallop with his tail in the air like an Arab, he outstretched his neck and lengthened his strides.
