Deductive stood in his stall pawing at the ground furiously, he'd got bored a few hours ago and had been doing this the whole time, by now he had messed up his stall. Sticking his head out of the stall Deductive shook his head and started biting at the stable door, it was amusing enough, and the only thing left to do.

Lily walked down the aisle of stalls, giving pats to noses that were sticking out as she made her way to Deductive's stall. When she arrived, she saw that he was chewing the wood on the stall door and had created a rather large divot with his hoof. "Hey now, stop that. That's naughty." She would have to come out here more often, or put a metal piece over the top of the stall door. Or maybe she should get one of those stall balls to keep him occupied. Grabbing his halter and lead, she opened the door and stepped in, giving him a pat and slipping the leather over his head.

Deductive snorted and chewed Impatiently, he pricked his ears at the sound of footsteps and whinnied, pawing at the stall door frantically, he wanted attention and lots of it. After seeing Lily come around the corner Deductive reared happily then put his head out of the stall to greet her, hugs where coming. Deductive snorted as she put the halter on and raised his head as far as he could, looking around.

"Hey now, head down here, buddy." Yes, she had left him alone for too long. Poor thing. Yet she wasn't really looking forward to training him today. Maybe she was just a little shaken up by her fall. She pushed it out of her head and smiled, giving Deductive a scratch behind the ears and a big hug before opening the door and leading him out to the cross-ties. She snapped first one side, then the other in place, then walked the short distance to the tack room and grabbed her grooming box and a lungeline. Setting both down, she picked up a curry and started making circular motions down one side of his body.

Deductive pawed the ground, and lowered his head before following Lily out of his stall, He pranced besides Lily, without pulling on the rope. Deductive stood at the cross ties impatiently, trying to bite on anything within range, he sighed and pawed the ground.

"Okay, okay, I'll hurry. My, what an impatient thing you are today." She rushed through grooming, though she was careful not to miss anything. She would never neglect her horse's care, but she was anxious to start training again, too. Tossing the soft brush back into the box where she'd gotten it, she picked up the box and returned it to the tack room, grabbing his saddle, pad, and bridle as she came back out to him. She picked up the lunge line and replaced the lead with it, unclipping the ties when she was finished. Lily lead him out to the arena, taking him at a slow trot. The weather was chilly and she wanted to take plenty of time warming him up.

Deductive flicked his tail impatiently and to get rid of an annoying fly, he moved around continuesly on the ties, then followed Lily where she led him, anything was better than standing around. Trotting beside Lily, Deductive threw his head around and snorted.

As they got close to the arena entrance, Lily brought him to a halt so she could open the big door. Since the weather was getting cold, the arena was being kept closed at all times and the heat had been turned on. After leading him through the opening, which was just big enough for both of them to fit through comfortably, she turned and closed the door again, then set the tack down on a gate. "Okay, boy. I know I don't have to ask if you're ready, so just behave today and we'll have a good time." She walked him farther out into the arena and let out some of the line, clucking to him to trot.

Deductive Stood after Lily halted him, He bobbed his head and walked into the arena. Deductive followed Lily as she walked him further into the arena, He sprung forward into a smooth trot as Lily clucked. His smooth Rythem soon turned into a rough Beat as he looked around.

"Hey, now, pay attention." She knew he had a lot of stored up energy, but he still needed to listen to her. She flicked the lunge line a bit, lightly, trying to het him to pay attention to her, not the arena around them. Lily wanted to warm him up for at least another ten minutes before restarting his training, which would also give her some time to figure out exactly what they were going to work on today.

Deductive snorted as Lily flicked the whip, his ear turned towards her, showing he was listening and his trot smoothened within a few minutes, he held his head up high as he moved around Lily.

Well, at least it was a start, he ws paying attention to her. She let him trot around for another couple of minutes before clucking him into a canter. Lily had an idea for training him, but wasn't sure if the tools she needed would be available. Maybe she'd look, or she'd have to think of something else.

Deductive tossed his head a few more times before focusing on what Lily wanted him to do, he listened for the go to canter and once he heard it broke into a steady canter, with his head high and tail in the air. Deductive snorted as he stumbled on a stone, he moved back to trot and shook his head.

"Easy, there. Come on, canter." She kissed again, signaling him to continue a tri-beat. Another minute or so and she slowed him down, giving him a pat before setting him into a trot going the opposite direction. At least it was warm in the arena. She wouldn't want to look at the heating bill, but it was well worth it.

Deductive continued at a trot, even when asked to canter, his trot was rough and looked very bouncy, he walked over to Lily once asked then continued in the same direction, his trot still very rough. Deductive watched the ground and moved past the stone again, this time pushing it with his front hoof then snorted.
